In a wide, silent mountain basin beneath the flanks of Korab lies a lake that is surprisingly green. The water is clear but deeply tinted by algae and sediment, giving it a soft, moss-green sheen instead of the dark black the name suggests.
Around it, bare slopes and loose rock blocks rise, making the lake lie like a hidden bowl in the landscape. The place feels remote, peaceful, and almost timeless — a natural endpoint where the height and silence of Korab are fully expressed.
