The Köterberghaus was built in 1929. The architectural model was the shape of a Silesian mountain hut. For the foundation stones from a tower were used, which - built on the hilltop in 1893 - was blown up when construction began.
The Köterberghaus was an "economy" from the start. The Brand family has been taking care of “their” restaurant & café on the Köterberg since 1935 as tenants and since 1985 as owners. Mecca for bikers in summer, winter sports enthusiasts come in winter. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to sunset.
