Hiking
Kind of a hidden gem among all the Aurland/Flåm sights. This watefall is not visible from the most visited parts of Aurland, nor from the way there which results in quite a low number of people visiting it. Even though it is not as popular as some other waterfalls in this region, I would more than recommend to see it. There is also possibility to follow the path further up to Stegastein if time permits.

In June 2022, huge masses of water rushed over the rocks. A strong wind also swept the spray onto the path below. Walking was made considerably more difficult because it was totally soggy, muddy and slippery. Within 1 minute I was soaked from the spray.
