The church used to be vacant and surrounded by a marketplace, today it is surrounded by a modern shopping center.
Noteworthy is the tilted tower.

"The church was built around the year 1318. During the Hussite War, its tower and three-nave were destroyed, but rebuilding did not start until after 1452. In the 1880s, the church was rebuilt in late Gothic style, bombing the city In April 1945, the foundations of the tower were badly damaged and since then the tower has deviated almost 2 meters from the vertical axis, dominated by the altar with a glass foot representing the art of the 20th century. After the church fell victim to the Hussite Wars, this church was built in the 15th century. Later around 1880 it was redesigned in the late Gothic style. The leaning tower, which has been sloping since a bomb attack in 1945, is remarkable.
