Australian Alps Walking Track is a 650-kilometre route connecting the high country of Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT, following ridges, forests and alpine landscapes through some of southeastern Australia’s most remote country. The Namadgi section passes through Honeysuckle Campground and continues towards Mount Tennent and Booroomba Rocks, and also provides the current walking access to Booroomba Rocks while the access road is closed. It is a Grade 5 route intended for experienced, self-reliant bushwalkers, although shorter sections can be walked as day trips.
