Along this upper stretch of Kitty’s Gorge Trail, Gooralong Brook cascades over a series of small granite falls and shallow rapids, carving its way through the valley. There are boardwalks that cross the brook’s banks in several places, with granite boulders covered in moss on both sides. The waterfalls are especially impressive when the brook flows stronger after rainfall. They’re one of the many beautiful features along the Kitty’s Gorge walk, making it easy to see why it’s long been a popular destination for bushwalkers and locals alike.
