The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale is situated on the forested southern edge of Perth, with jarrah and marri woodland, granite outcrops, waterfalls and winding waterways that provide plenty of opportunities to explore on foot. The area includes Serpentine National Park, the historic timber town of Jarrahdale and a network of walking trails ranging from easy park walks to more challenging bushwalks. Keep an eye out for kangaroos, native birds and wildflowers as you explore, especially through the forests around Jarrahdale and Serpentine.
