The current castle was built between 1898 and 1904 according to plans by architect Lars Israel Wahlman in the Tudor style. Surrounding the castle is a castle park, crisscrossed by hiking trails and extending to the Kungsbacka Fjord. The castle can be visited during the summer months.The extensive castle garden faces the sea, and the property features kilometers of walking paths between oak forests and along shore meadows. The castle garden, the castle park, and the nature reserve are open to visitors year-round.

A very well-preserved castle complex that cannot currently be visited. The surrounding facilities are definitely worth a visit!

Tjolöholm Castle is located near Kungsbacka in Sweden on the Kungsbackafjord. The present castle was built in Tudor style between 1898 and 1904 to plans by architect Lars Israel Wahlman. Around the castle there is a castle park, which is criss-crossed by hiking trails and extends to the Kungsbackafjord.
