The Schrofenas summit is a challenging hike; sometimes you can move up using the attached rope. Without this it would almost not be possible. The summit cross is very small but nice and something different than what you are used to. Anyone who has completed the climb will definitely be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Lake Plansee when the weather is clear
