The origin of Nisbet Creek lies in Nisbet Lake, northeast of Grundy Lake Provincial Park. The watercourse flows through several lakes, Bucke Lake, Grundy Lake, and Gut Lake, before flowing into Portage Lake outside the park. This lake drains via the Key River into Georgian Bay.
