The source was built or radically renovated in 1339 (although mentions already existed from 1307), serving an important function as a watering place and wash house. It features an elegant portico with two large round arches on the long side, cross vaults, and a length of about ten and a half meters. It takes its name from the seven original spouts from which the water flowed, although today six are visible, as the seventh supplied an adjacent wash house.
