These are the caves where the Benedictine nun, patron saint of Cingoli, born in Gubbio, lived. S. Sperandia (co-patroness of Cingoli, lived between 1216 and 1276) leads a life of prayer and penance in the narrow cave, interwoven, according to popular tradition, with miraculous events. The cave was arranged with the stone pavement, the parapet walls and the access stairway during the second half of the century. XX. The construction of the chapel can be traced back to the century. XIX.
