Hiking
The absolute highlight of this circular hike was the nature trail Schwarzes Moor right at the beginning - very impressive, especially since peat has never been mined here, thus preserving 10,000 years of geological development.
A boardwalk leads through various areas of the moor (supplemented by info boards for adults and further child-friendly boards, e.g. on its formation and significance). This allows families and people with limited mobility to enjoy this special piece of nature.
There is a bistro at the free parking lot, open daily from 11 am to 5 pm.
