This is the crossroads where Stéphane Goyard lost his life on May 30, 2026, during the Nature is Bike 200 km trail. A bouquet of dried flowers marks the location of the tragedy. Despite his immense cycling experience, Stéphane's death reminds us how much we must constantly remain vigilant, and that life literally hangs by a head movement at a crossroads like this one, like the thousands that exist in the area. Rest in peace Stéphane.
