When the weather is nice, you can watch paragliders while enjoying the great view in the beer garden. We opted for the easier ascent via the Glottertal by bike. (The path up from Waldkirch is a bit steeper / more demanding, the asphalt (as of May 2018) in a catastrophic condition, which means full concentration for the descent! Risk of falling!) Alternatively, you can drive to the summit parking lot by car / motorcycle, different levels of difficulty There are hiking trails. Don't be put off by the warm temperatures in the valley, it's around 10 degrees colder at the top, and it's also windy!
