Commemorative plaque, statue (wheel with wings) and wagon at the former railway station is reminiscent of the former narrow-gauge railway, which was traveling on its 14km from Diekirch to Bettel. After the start of construction in 1887, the route was opened in 1889. After the purchase of the over the years neglected route by the Kantonalbahngesellschaft 1924, the route was fundamentally redeveloped. After thinking about a decommissioning in the 1930s, took place in 1948, the decommissioning of the track. It was mined two years later.

Between 2003 and 2005, the former railway building was rebuilt. Today, the "Bëttler Gare" can be rented for a party at the Syndicat d'Initiative Fouhren.
