Tips
Small park with a historical background. There are several WWII anti-aircraft gun emplacements there. There is now a small star observatory at Punta Falcone.
The paths are well laid out and well maintained. Several viewpoints at the said gun positions with benches. The view over to the offshore islands (Elba in particular) is terrific.
A little caution is required if you want to take the beaten path down to the "Calas" with bathing facilities. Sturdy shoes and bathing shoes are required. But you will be rewarded with great underwater rock formations.
For my part, I just decided to add something above for a while. Watching a cormorant diving was one of my highlights.translated by
