This pass connects Val Seriana and Val Brembana and is very popular with cyclists and walkers on weekends. From Ponte Nossa the ascent is about 14 kilometres, from Val Brembana it can be reached from San Pellegrino passing through Dossena, or from Ambria passing through Serina. On the hill there is a public fountain and a restaurant/bar.
