• Corno Nero (2,440 m): It is entirely made up of dark magmatic and volcanic rocks, specifically Bolzano Quartz Porphyry (ignimbrites and volcanic emissions from the lower Permian). The fault has vertically uplifted this block by over 1,000 meters.
• Corno Bianco (2,317 m): Located just one kilometer away as the crow flies, it instead towers with its very clear and white San Cassiano Dolomite (marine sedimentary rock from the Triassic).
