This path is a wonderful way to get from the Achtal to the Hochsträß. Very good asphalt and practically no cars paired with sections in the forest that make the climb more pleasant even at high temperatures.

The path provides good ground for the road bike and is not very busy.
It leads from Pappelau first over the Sotzenhauser road to the hamlet Sotzenhausen. Then it goes into the woods and downhill at the forest tavern with beer garden over, down to the valley. From there you continue in the direction of Blaubeuren or Schelklingen.
