The impressive Avenue of Glory adjoins the central monument. On black stone slabs, stretching for about 200 meters on both sides of the path, more than 140,000 names are engraved. They commemorate all the men and women from South Kazakhstan who were drafted into military service from the region.
As you walk along these plaques, the immense scale of the war becomes tangible – each inscription represents a personal fate, a family, and a life shaped by the war.
