From the northern tip at the forest hall you have great views of the Schmalsee.

If you look at Mölln from the air or on a map, you will notice that the city is bordered almost continuously by lakes and rivers in the north and east. But Mölln does not see this as a limitation, but quite rightly as a unique enrichment. And the Schmalsee in the east of the city definitely belongs to this enrichment. In fact, it is quite narrow and long and the Hellbach flows through it in a northerly direction. Completely enclosed by forest, there is a continuous circular path along the shore. Only a narrow strip separates the water from the Lütauer See, whose water flows into the Schmalsee.

On the north side is the romantic hotel-restaurant "Waldhalle".
