Road cycling
The road leading north through the Waterloo battlefield is fast and busy. There is a mediocre quality cycle path next to the road which I took after a couple of close passes.

Great stop, take in the sights, and remember: the battle of Waterloo wasn't actually in Waterloo. It happened in the villages of Braine-l’Alleud and Plancenoit, along the Mont Saint Jean ridge. It was the Duke of Wellington, whose quarters were in Waterloo, who ultimately made the error in his war reports.
