Hiking

Manita peć is the only cave in the park area that is open and equipped for visitors. The spacious cathedral and the beauty of the formations have delighted visitors since 1937, when the path was established and visits began. The entrance to the cave is 570 m above sea level, and the ascent from the parking lot in Velika Paklenica takes about 1.5 hours. Visiting times are currently severely restricted due to the corona pandemic, so it is recommended that you call in advance to find out about opening times.
