Place with a typical village character. Has retained much of its old charm, as for a long time it was only accessible by postal boat. The bridge connecting the place with the island of Møn has only existed since the late 1960s.
Tourists must (fortunately!) leave their cars in a parking lot at the entrance to the village, so that exploring the village is largely car-free.
Important: Nyord is NOT a museum village! Please respect the privacy of the residents!
