Härtsfeld Beekeeping Educational Center and Herb Garden

On this area you can see on the bee trail how important the honey bee is, what it does and why it is so important in nature. Furthermore, you can watch bees behind glass at the showcase. On this area is still a large herb garden created. Usually on the 1st Sunday of the month the beekeepers hold information events, to which everybody is cordially invited. Guided tours are available on request.

Exciting for hobby beekeepers.
In 2010, on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the association, the Härtsfeld beekeepers presented the new teaching apiary to the public. 30,000 euros and 2,500 hours of voluntary work flowed into it.

Here is a very nice, flat path along an old railway track. Really great to run here. There is always something to discover.
