Only a thin buttress of lake separates Lower and Upper Southfork lakes, but you'll have to hike around the lower lake to reach this upper one. A footpath makes it easy to get down to the lakeshore, or the ambitious peak-bagger might choose to keep going on the main trail to Southfork Mountain.
