The Church of San Leone Vescovo, Saint Bishop Leo, is the most important place of worship in Ordona and is dedicated to the city's patron saint. He is a historical and spiritual figure of the region who, according to tradition and ancient records, lived between 105 and 174 AD. He was the 1st shepherd of ancient Ordona, Herdonea, and Ascoli Satriano.
