The river Viskan divides into two arms (Stora and Lilla Viskan) at Åskloster. The area features multiple bridges: historic, repurposed 1800s railway bridges that serve as popular pedestrian and cycle crossings, as well as the modern railway and road bridges connecting the region.
These crossings are located along the scenic Viskadalen valley, stretching towards Varberg, and are a notable waypoint for outdoor and cycling loops.
