old road of Colle di Tenda, or the carriageway built around 1780 at the behest of the King of Sardinia Vittorio Amedeo III and practically abandoned after the opening of the road tunnel in 1882. However, the old road has always been viable, also because it is affected by the military traffic.
Entrance: last bend before the tunnel. Dirt road with no entry sign.
