Strasburg (Uckermark) was founded around 1250 and celebrated its 775th anniversary in 2025. Strasburg (Uckermark) received town privileges around 1250 (first documented mention around 1267). It was founded as a border town in the region, partly under Pomeranian influence (Duke Barnim I), and later belonged to the Margraviate of Brandenburg.
