Hakea Trail is a relatively short woodland track that winds through open eucalypt forest and patches of native heath. The trail gets its name from the hakea shrubs along the route, with seasonal wildflowers and plenty of opportunities to spot native birdlife. It also connects with several other tracks, making it easy to extend your walk through the southern section of the reserve.
