Deep in the Albanian Alps unfolds a valley that feels both rugged and harmonious. Steep limestone walls rise straight up from a carpet of green, while the Lumi i Thethit winds through the valley like a silver ribbon. Between the rocks lie small hamlets with stone houses and wooden roofs, surrounded by meadows and fruit trees. The contrast between the grey peaks and the vibrant green makes the landscape almost picturesque — a place where mountain silence, light, and human presence subtly balance each other.

The characteristic feature of the Theth Valley is the contrast between greenery and raw rock: the valley floor is formed by lush green clearings and meadows, above which steeply rise the vertical, light-grey walls of the limestone peaks of the Albanian Alps.
