The garrison rifle house is here. It was originally part of the Dornhalde shooting range of the Royal Garrison Stuttgart. Today's 9-hectare Dornhaldenfriedhof was built in the same place in 1974.

The Garrison Shooting House was a former canteen and workshop of a firing range for the Royal Garrison of Stuttgart. The building is empty and slowly decaying. The Dornhalden cemetery is located on the site of the former shooting range.
