The trail to Lovikfjellet is a very pleasant one. It starts on a road that goes to a quarry, but it develops into a good footpath over pretty easy terrain. You will walk through a pretty sparse forest on the way, and that means you will get great views back down towards the bridge over the Risøyrenna.
