Gravel riding
Old bridge in good condition with three perfect round arches of unequal opening and two of the piers protected by breakwaters.
It has low parapets where upstream gutters open. The deck, with a horizontal profile, 27 meters by 3 meters, shows traces of being raised at an undetermined date, perhaps coinciding with the construction or renovation of the neighboring mill.
This bridge, whose antiquity must date back at least to the 18th century, served the old road link between Évora and Alcácer do Sal, with transit through Boa Fé, Torre da Giesteira, Escoural, S. Cristovão and Santa Susana.
