Small park with a fantastic view of the Sognefjord and a statue of the Viking Fridtjof the Brave.

Emperor Wilhelm II commissioned the Fridtjof statue, which he presented to the Norwegian people. Kaiser Wilhelm II and the Norwegian King Haakon were present at the unveiling ceremony on July 31, 1913. The statue is 10.5 meters tall and stands on a 12-meter-high pedestal.
