After a tough uphill climb searching for the Cave of Euripides and coming up empty-handed, finding the ancient Sanctuary of Dionysus was the ultimate reward! Tucked away on the mountain slopes near Peristeria, these historic ruins are a fantastic archaeological surprise. It turns out no trail is ever truly wasted—at least Ι found something awesome!
