A small house by the sea, with the monastery of Faneromeni opposite and the pine forest just a breath away, was the refuge of Aggelos Sikelianos during the last and most difficult years of his life. The small building, which had been standing for years, was restored and handed over to the local authorities by the Ephorate of New Monuments of Attica in 2006, the same year that Anna Sikelianou passed away, whose wish was that relics from their common life there.
