The Carthusian Monastery is definitely worth a visit! Admission is €7 - which is worth it. You learn a lot about the reconstruction of the complex, which has burned down multiple times, and the life of the nuns in a monastery focused on seclusion.

The visit is worthwhile. Not because the monastery would offer special cultural highlights inside, but because of the beautiful atmosphere, which is further enhanced by its secluded location deep in the forest. You also get some insights into the former life in the monastery.
