(The Bohemian Forest) is a vast protected landscape area in southwestern Czech Republic.
It is the largest contiguous forest and nature reserve in Central Europe, famous for its pristine primeval forests, mysterious peat bogs, glacial lakes, and the iconic Boubín mountain (1362 m).
