Cycling
The carillon consists of 24 bronze bells with a total weight of around 3,000 kilograms. The largest bell weighs about 350 kilograms, the smallest around 8 kilograms. Originally, the melodies were played via an electromechanical punched tape control. In 2001, the system received a modern electronic control, so that the music is now stored digitally and played automatically.
