Hiking
The 'Bloedberg' is an artificially constructed hill about 15 meters high where the 'Polshoogte' watchtower now stands. The mountain was originally used to detect forest fires in the vicinity. Only later was a tower placed on it. Bloedberg owes its name to the hard work that was necessary to build this hill with few resources. The workers literally worked their hands raw.
