At the time, it was considered the largest living structure. Construction began in 2001, designed and directed by architect Marcel Kalberer. With around 650 volunteers from 13 nations. Built for the IGA 2003 in Rostock. During the IGA, around 300 visitors attended the service on Sundays. There were 3 weddings and 6 baptisms.
