This trail is a mix of wide fire track and narrow sections that winds through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park between the Sphinx Memorial site and Bobbin Head. The route passes an Aboriginal heritage site that is among the hundreds recorded across the park, and the historic Halvorsen’s boatshed site. It’s a moderate walk with some relatively steep sections that include stairs, and is a great route where you can enjoy the bushland, water views, and a fair bit of history along the way.
