Very neat, apparently recently restored windmill. The gate is open and you can drive directly to the mill. Unfortunately there are no seats for a rest. Part of the Lower Saxony Mühlenstraße.

You wouldn't expect a post mill here. Good that Komoot exists.

The so-called Schradersche Mühle, which was built on the Pfadfinderweg between the Wolfsburg city and districts Kreuzheide and Kästorf over 150 years ago, forms another branch of the Stadtmuseum Schloss Wolfsburg.
It is a Bockwindmühle, which originally stood in Schöppenstedt. There she dismantled a miller in 1861 and again in Kästorf near Wolfsburg. Müller Gustav Schrader took over the mill in 1921, hence the nickname. The mill craft was operated here until 1969. After decommissioning, the mill became the property of the city of Wolfsburg, which restored it as a technical monument.
