The Gelterswoog is a reservoir on the district of the Westphalian city of Kaiserslautern (Rhineland-Palatinate). Three valley cuts of its tributaries, including the Walkmühl and the Kolbental with Kolbenwoog and Kolbenmoor, and the Verlandungszonen on the lakeshore are classified since 1997 as a nature reserve valleys and Verlandungszone Gelterswoog.

Hiking

The beautiful reservoir is a great destination. Under the tall trees you will always find a shady spot. In the north of the lake there is an outdoor pool with a sandy beach. Here also small rowing boats can be borrowed. Those who want to enjoy nature longer can camp at the campsite.
