Rosswag is just beautiful in the vineyards and has a great loop along the Enz.

Coming from the Black Forest, on its journey through the Heckengäu in the area of the Enzschlingen, the Enz has buried itself in large turns in the hard upper shell limestone and formed a characteristic landscape. Orchards and forests alternate with impressive vineyard terraces and show a cross-section through the range of the diverse hedge-gau landscape. Many animal and plant species are at home here, including the very rare wall lizard.
On the so-called impact slopes along the Enz there are beautiful, species-rich hillside forests on the north side and imposing, steep vineyard terraces on the south side. In the wide semicircle of the slopes this step landscape impresses with dry stone walls and vineyards and makes the name "amphitheater" apt. The historic vineyard walls, which have been built up over generations under the most difficult conditions, store the sun's heat and offer warmth-loving wine a particularly favorable microclimate for maturation. White and red wines with a full bouquet testify to the good growing conditions.
A nature trail with clear information boards on the landscape, animals and plants is laid out over a length of 5 km from Mühlhausen to Roßwag. In the former bakery and wash house in Roßwag a small information center is open on Sunday afternoons (May-October), which also offers the opportunity for a small wine tasting!
