The church in Dollern, built in 1961 as a brick building and listed as a historic monument, is indeed something unusual. At first glance, it looks like a large farmhouse. Only at second glance does the small bell tower, which sits enthroned on the rear part of the building, catch the eye.
The front part was formerly the former thatched-roof school, built at the beginning of the 19th century (also listed as a historic monument). It was later used as a residential building.
