The Napoleon Bridge is a single-arch natural stone bridge with a massive parapet that leads over the Mühlenbach in the course of the old Möllner Straße. It was built between 1805 and 1808 and served as the identical bridges in Steinbek and Reinbek to border security of the then Duchy of Holstein against Saxony-Lauenburg, which was under the English crown.
The fact that Napoleon once crossed it is not documented. The name should rather have grown folkly.
The bridge is a cultural monument and closed to motor traffic. Since 1971 it is a listed building.
